Planning to travel by aeroplane for an unforgettable surf experience here in Aotearoa New Zealand? We love to sharing our beautiful backyard with you. You want to pursue your passion of surfing and exploring the best breaks down-under, and we are here to help you. You don’t need to take your precious board and/or foil in the plane and risk getting it damaged. Generally feeling like a packhorse during your journey. You can just rent everything you need from us for your whole stay, from 7 days to a few months – no strings attached. Tips on idea weather conditions and where the best spots are included in your rental of course.

What does it cost?
Prices vary, depending how long you are renting and what exactly you’re after. The longer you rent, the better the value. Plus you can add soft roof racks, surfspot guidebook and lockbox etc.

- We organise all desired equipment for you here in New Zealand.
- You just get here, pick it up, take it with you on your trip, unlimited use, having the best time!
All our boards are supplied with a leash, fins or foils and a board bag, so you’re good to go.
We recommend booking a month in advance of your requirement to ensure we are able to service your needs.

Domestic rental centers
With over 16,000km of coastline, New Zealand offers plenty of surfspots for any skill level. However, many of those spots are remote and rental gear is simply not available on site.
I rented a Surf Board from Water Nomads in Auckland. They were very helpful at advising on where to surf and also had a guidebook and lockbox. It's hard to find a weekly rental on a high performance surfboard. This is a much better option than bringing gear on the plane. I highly recommend Water Nomads.
