What does it cost?
Prices vary, depending how long you are renting and what exactly you’re after. The longer you rent, the better the value. We offer the latest gear including boards, wings and foils, plus you can add soft roof-racks and lockbox etc.
One Board: The affordable option, saves on excess baggage fees, and you ride your own wing and foil combo.
- Day 1 – 7 NZD 40.- per day
- Day 8 – 30 NZD 30.- per day
- From day 31 NZD 25.- per day
NB: 7 day minimum
One Board + One Wing + One Foil: Keeping it simple. Perfect for the no compromise sailor, or you have limited travel space available.
- Day 1 – 7 NZD 75.- per day
- Day 8 – 30 NZD 55.- per day
- From day 31 NZD 40.- per day
NB: 7 day minimum
One Board + Two Wings + One Foil: to get you on the water in most conditions.

How does it work?

- We organise all desired equipment for you here in New Zealand.
- You just get here, pick it up, take it with you on your trip, unlimited use, having the best time!
All our wing foil boards are supplied with a leash and board bag. Wings come also with leash and foils include baseplate, mast, fuselage, front and rear wings. So you are good to go!
We recommend booking a month in advance of your requirement to ensure we are able to service your wing foil needs. One way rentals and short notice requests may incur a fee.

A great service to save you traveling with your gear. I rented foiling equipment from Water Nomads during my recent 5 week campervan trip in New Zealand. They even accommodated us picking up the gear in South island and dropping off on the North Island. Heidi & Bevan were very responsive and extremely helpful with spot suggestions, weather advice, and other travel tips. Highly recommend!

Sorry no, we currently do not offer Wing Foil or Foiling lessons. However there are plenty of Wing Foil Schools in the main centres throughout New Zealand where you can begin you Wing Foil journey.

Our gear is suitable for “advanced beginner” where you are comfortable flying the foil and now learning to gybe.

Water Nomads Wing Foil Rental Centre does not operate out of a physical shop. This means we are not tied to a specific location. We simply work with your travel plans to offer the best place to pick-up and drop-off locations for the wing foil gear at any major centre in New Zealand.
Sorry but New Zealand does not have resorts like the Med and Europe. Its why we are the adventure capital of the world, part of the fun is exploring, and that’s where we can help.
