NZ Tow Foil Nationals 2023 Announced

*** UPDATE ***

due to the forecast the event is cancelled and planned for 2024.

Adrenaline Alley are excited to announce the first-ever edition of the NZ TOW FOIL NATIONALS 2023 in Raglan.

The competition will be run on April 15th weather dependent, with a backup date of April 29th as these are the days that work with the Raglan tides.

The event will be held on the Raglan bar. The Raglan bar is one of New Zealand’s special tow foiling spots, providing perfect long waves for epic rides. (when the waves are long…:))

The event will be based on the Wahine Moe Boat (aka The Raglan Super Yacht) which will be parked as close to the bar as possible. Everyone will be able to dock their Jetskis off the Wahine Moe as there will be two giant inflatable SUPS/docks mounted on the back.

The registration will be on Friday from 4:00 pm and the competition briefing from 6:30- 7:00pm) at Adrenaline Alley 2 John St. Registration will also include a full safety Jetski check.

Family and friends will be able to come on board and watch the comp from the boat. There will be water Taxis operating.
The First Taxi rides are at 10 am from Wainamu beach.

On registration, you will have to register your team’s name and team member’s name and the Jetski’s REGO.

The event will be run as a team event. There will be 12 teams in the competition, teams will consist of 2 people and their own Jetski.

The plan for the day is to run 8 heats, 2 semi-finals and a final. This is going to be a big day and this is the dream plan, just remember you are dealing with mother nature, so the plan may change. So please be ready for anything. (E-Foils will be fully charged :’) )

May the best team win!
