Our destination is only 4-1/2 hours drive from Auckland airport, and with gear rentals available, why not fly in and make it a week’s holiday?

Taranaki:
Come spring (October / November), we have a couple of trips to Taranaki planned. One will be over Labour weekend end of October to join the world famous (in Aotearoa) Taranaki Wave Classic (an event not to be missed). Our Taranaki Wave Weekend Surfari will be in November.Sailing Lake Pukaki under the majestic Aoraki / Mount Cook

For summer (February 2023) we have two Surfaris to the lakes in the South Island in the pipe: One of them being based around Twizel to explore Lake Ohau, Aviemore, Pukaki, Tekapo, Benmore,….. The other one will be based in Queenstown to get the most out of Wakatipu, Lake Wanaka and Hawea. Those trips will be more or less back-to-back, so you can book both and get the full South Island experience if you are keen! You want to come on one of our trips and get spoiled, but can’t make the date. Or you want a different location? Get a group of mates together, get in touch with us and we will fully custom tailor one of our Surfaris for your group!

Wingfoiling is now officially part of our portfolio at Water Nomads!
Get your hands on the latest gear from Starboard, Axisfoils and PPC Foiling and join us on one of our Wingfoil-Surfaris. Actually, have we mentioned that a lot of our Surfaris are multi-disciplinary and are suitable for wingfoiling, windfoiling and windsurfing? Because it doesn’t matter what you ride, as long as you have fun!
